"Creating this"
By CopperScaleDragon, 5/21/2003 about
Thanks for the nice reply. This is a photograph, originally. The little castles are all things I bought one day at the dollar store for my son. I had put them on the mantle and liked how they looked, so I photographed them. To create the image for Zazzle, I used a texture filter on a layer of the image and then deleted the area above (the stone area) of that layer. I created another layer and selected the stone above the castles and applied a smoothing filter to it. (while deleting the castle area of that layer.) I used a grass brush to create the grassy area which covers my wooden mantle, and gave a more finished look to the whole piece. Thanks for your interest. I appreciate it. J----
