LOL! - "isn't copyrighted". Copyright is not a sui generis intellectual property scheme that requires artists/authors to register for protection. In all TRIPS compliant States (i.e. 99% of the developed world) an original artistic work (i.e. a logo) automatically attracts copyright protection. If a court is satisfied that the logo/symbol in question is 'substantially identical' or 'deceptively similar' to TPB's logo then you will be infringing copyright. In terms of trademark infringement, you are also incorrect. Although the logo is not a registered trademark, TPB has used the 'mark' in the course of trade and commerce for years and could easily seek an injunction and damages by proving 'accrued reputation' under US/Sweden domestic trademark legislation. Having said that, it would be way too ironic for TPB to enforce intellectual property rights considering they are an organization predicated on copyright infringement. The chances of legal repercussions are extremely low. But as a intellectual property lawyer I couldn't help but reply to such a hilariously misinformed post. You are correct about only one thing: 'Do a little freaking research before you comment please' - VERY good advice.

-.-
Oh, and about the talk of Pirating the Pirate bay logo, it isn't Copyrighted. The kopimi logo is in place of where most sites put a (C)Whatever company 2007.
