Hey Bugeye, if you would simply spend an hour or two of research,you would be able to quit the parrot like whine of "seperation of church" ad nauseum and maybe discover that the founder , while religious men,were trying to protect the nation from tyranny of state a run church and they most certainly were not trying to keep God out of very facet of gov't. But I suspect that would be too deep for you,like all good liberals,to fathom.Pitiful !

Read what the founders really were saying when the said seperation of church and state. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise therof....." The Framers were sepearting from England, who had a STATE run religion, and therefore, the Founders wanted NO STATE religion, it was not meant to say that religion had nothing to do with the country, considering we were granted the Unalienable rights of "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness", Natural Law, the rights given to man by GOD. Do the damn math, and research and stop considering the seperation of church and state that the supreme court ruled on. The framers were religious men.

Why must he put his hand over his heart during a pledge that has content in clear violation of separation of church and state?("under god" was added in 1954) An act of civil disobedience at it's finest. Makes me proud to live in a country where civil protest is allowed.
