You just can't get too much Thomas Jefferson. Have you heard the famous story of JFK entertaining a famous group of accomplished men, I believe perhaps even Nobel laureates. He said that this was the most brilliant group ever gathered together for dinner at the White House, except for when Thomas Jefferson dined alone! On the front of this shirt is the engraving of the Boston Massacre, by Paul Revere himself, and a quote from Jefferson: "The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." And on the back of the shirt are six gems from Jefferson: "My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government." And "That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves." Followed by "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." Then "When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." And "One man with courage is a majority." And lastly, "We are not to expect to be translated from despotism to liberty in a featherbed." So get off of that featherbed! On the front of the shirt is an illustration of the Boston Massacre by Paul Revere, who was a better rider and revolutionary than artist. If you want to print this on a light shirt, look around, there's a version for use on lights.
