I'd say that this chic gal is definitely ready for her Parisian shopping spree! And I love that pinwheel looking flower applique on her hat. I can just see it spinning around in the breeze as she strolls from shop to shop. How fun, how whimsical, gave me a tickle! You never fail to amaze me, Susan. This is lovely and gets added right away to my favorites - mucho STARZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)) Cheryl
"In the garden.. or on a Paris shopping spree... either one will take my fancy :)"
You were right about young Sid the Seagull, it was the french fries he was after. By the end of the day he'd eaten so many and put on so much extra weight that he couldn't get airborne unaided, so he had to be catapulted off the bridge! Chris almost always paints on the Quarter Imperial size watercolour paper. Thanks for your usual lovely and lively comments, and congrats on all your sales. Cheers ~ Colin
I saw it in the zoom and see the hint of postage and writing! Did you cut it out and lay it against the writing? The big flower and big floppy hat and coat do appear very familiar! A favorite! Wonderful and delightful!
