Venice in Neon is a computer generated image that took over a year to create. I drew the Venice scene in three dimensions using a program called POV-Ray. I then enhanced the edges of the image so they appear to glow with neon-like colors. While the image depicts an imaginary location, the bell tower is modeled after Saint Mark's Campanile, a building in Venice with an interesting history.
