Vexillophile

VEXILLOPHILE means lover of flags, and is an appropriate nickname for me. I have been collecting flags since I was in the third grade, back in 1967! This lifelong passion has resulted in an in-depth knowledge of the flags of the world, not only of contemporary nations, but of nations that no longer exist, historical flags of the United States and other nations, the flags of national subdivisions. The stories and meanings behind many flags are often fascinating.


It is our sincere hope that you will find and enjoy the flag product you are looking for here in the Vexillophile Store. If the flag you want is not here, please feel free to send a note and we will attempt to accommodate you!


Remember, too, that these flag designs are available on ALL products of any given type: even though the default setting may be for 11 ounce mugs or round buttons, you can change to other styles of mugs, square buttons, shirts of various colors, sizes, and fittings. You will note that we do not offer flags on dog clothing or skateboards: we do not think these are appropriate places to display these symbols. Flags are also not offered on postage, as this violates Zazzle Postage Policy which does not allow items which are intrinsically political or partisan in nature on custom postage. Of course, flags are inherently political in nature, representing as they do political units known as governments. If you should see flag postage offered elsewhere on Zazzle, we recommend that you report it.
