The boy's facial expression is wonderfully done, and it gives me a wide smile on my face, Kyoko! Also, it seems that you intended to carry the message, Love & Hope, in the whole painting by depicting a girl who is holding a puppy. And I love to see that the children are on a boat which appears to be going forward, to a brighter future(hopefully...)! Well, that's what I feel from this image.....Ujean *-*
