About this design
Vintage Belding's Silk Ad from 1906 Poster
This vintage ad was scanned from an original Ladies Home Journal from 1906. It's an ad for Belding's Silk. Among the permanent industries of the United States were the silk manufacturing plants of the Belding Brothers & Company. They had mills located in four states and Canada - Rockville, Ct, Northampton, MA, Belding, MI, Montreal, Canada, and Petaluma, CA. All these mills ranked with the very best from the point of view of modern factory construction, mechanical equipment and liberal management. Vintage magazine advertisements look great framed and hanging on your walls. This type of art emotes a retro feeling and adds an air of nostalgia to any room. These scans are taken directly from private collections of authentic and rare antique materials and professionally remastered in high resolution to retain the original detail and feel. Capture the intricacies of the late 1800's, the enthusiasm of the early 1900's, and even the kitsch of the 50's and 60's with reproductions from WallMags.
