Our newest shirts, titled "Views from my Bathroom" , are based on Old English Sheepdog quirks. They have many, but never allowing people to use the bathroom alone is one of my personal favorites. My houseguests without OES aren't nearly as amused by this as I am. The bottom line is....if you are used to total privacy in the bathroom, then this probably is not the breed for you. If you plan on long, leisurely bubblebaths watching the sunset, this probably is not the breed for you. If you are in the shower and get the creeps because you feel you're being watched, this probably is not the breed for you. If you can't brush your teeth with someone hiding out and staring at you, this probably isn't the breed for you. If you can't trade a squeaky toy for a roll of toilet paper while sitting on your "throne", this probably isn't the breed for you. Look at the shirts. Rescue groups and responsible breeders have a bunch of reasons why OES aren't for everyone, but I bet they haven't shared this with you! Responsible pet ownership includes sharing ALL the pertinent breed information. : )
