Appalling Accident at Farmington River (Sepia) Card
From an original stereoview from the private collection of Scenesfromthepast.net, this series of cards tells the story of what happened on the evening of January 15, 1878. On the way back from the evangelist Dwight Lyman Moody's revival in Hartford, the railroad bridge at Tariffville collapsed, killing thirteen.
