Did you know that greater than 80 percent of humans on this planet do not breathe properly? Breathing, a respiratory process requiring the intake of oxygen has been evaluated and talked about scientifically and spiritually. Done correctly there is present a peaceful homeostatic state of peacefulness and well being. There are described excercises that can bring you to greater states of consciousness as described in the realms of kundalini. Oxygen overdose as is found in hyperventilation due to anxiety can change your sense of well being into fear and emotionally cause perception of impending death. On the other end of the spectrum if you do not breathe well or due to stress, fear episodes holding your breathe, may cause an anxiety episode causing you to breathe faster and inturn cause you to hyperventilate. Do a search on the subject of breathing and how to breathe well, correctly and evenly. One excercise that is suggested is to spend five minutes being concious of your breathing rate and rhythm. Do this for five minutes twice to three times daily and write down your number breathes in that five minutes. Now be concious of how you are breathing while at work, performing tasks, relaxing. How many times have you found that you were holding your breath? How do you breathe in the presence of someone you do not know, do not like? How do you breathe during and argument? Immediately after the argument when you are rehashing the event?
