My work has been presented at Ft. Mason in San Francisco, at the O'Hanlon Center in Mill Valley, CA, in New York City at the Roerich Museum, at New York's City's Vasarely Gallery; and also at the Collective for Living Cinema.
I was educated at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston where I received a B.F.A. in Art Education/Media. I also studied at the University of Florence, Italy, New York University and at the College of Marin in Marin County, California.
In addition to my artwork, I have worked as a production assistant for the "Year of the Child" television special sponsored by the United Nations, and staff member of the Education Department of Boston's Museum of Fine Arts. I taught art and photography in the Boston public Schools and conducted art and creativity workshops in San Francisco, Boston and New York.
For a number of years I ran "20/20 Dance Vision," a music and dance improvisation event in New York City, which was held on a monthly basis.
That, along with coordinating forums combining art, science & philosophy (in New York City) & my prior teaching experience, instilled in me a love of people of various backgrounds and an appreciation of their celebrations, rites and rituals.
Along with physicist Michel DuGuay, I patented a Guided Light Diffuser, United States Patent 4989933. Guided Light Diffuser
