A little bit about me...I am a professional artist and paint or design daily. I started about 40 years ago when I met my first mendor. Her name is Jan Hagara. She launched a desire in me to learn how to do watercolors. We took art classes together and because of her I am now a professional artist.
It would be years later that I joined the Fremont Art Association and would met Jan Small and Patrica Weibe Smith. I am so grateful for my friendship and still are enjoying fellowship with them. They both have taught me so much, of which, I will be forever grateful.
I proceded then to go back to collage and study art and painting. I also graduated from California Business Collage.
A huge turning point in my life came when I moved to the Central Valley of California. I was blessed to study under Georgia Herrick in workshops learning pastels. Thanks to her and all that I was taught I was excepted into the Stockton Art Show and won an award. My paintings hung in the Haggen Museum for 3 months along with other award-winning artist.
I have shown in many galleries and worked to art/wine festivales in California.
