Not Clowning But Frowning Decal For The iPhone 4S
Not Clowning But Frowning is an original painting on canvas of Pierot: a stock character of pantomime and Commedia dell'Arte whose origins are in the late seventeenth-century Italian troupe of players performing in Paris and known as the Comédie-Italienne. His character in contemporary popular culture—in poetry, fiction, and the visual arts, as well as works for the stage, screen, and concert hall—is that of the sad clown, pining for love of Columbine, who usually breaks his heart and leaves him for Harlequin. A unique gift with a tragic circus and perforning arts theme. Perfect for those who enjoy Pantomime, actors, or those who have a clown and circus theme in their lives and home. A 35x70cm acrylic painting on canvas. Completed 19.8.11. "Inspired by Čeština: Pierot, Kubista":https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Kubista,_Bohumil_-_Pierot_(1911).jpg The author died in 1918, so this work is in the public domain in its country of origin and other countries and areas where the copyright term is the author's life plus 95 years or less.
