Union Gen. Wylie Crawford [sepia] iPhone 5 Case
Help protect your modern iPhone 5, with the hypnotic stare of Union Brigadier General S. Wylie Crawford! After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1850, Crawford had joined the antebellum Army Medical Corps as a surgeon, serving in Texas and the western territories. He was present in Fort Sumter during the opening bombardment of the Civil War in April 1861, helping to direct its artillery counter-fire, and afterward resigning his medical commission so as to assume command over a Union infantry regiment. He fought in the Battles of Cedar Mountain, Antietam, and Gettysburg, finishing his career as a Major-General and author.
