William Morris Snakeshead Floral Design Card
William Morris Snakeshead Pattern Floral Design Note Card What a beautiful card! A lovely floral design - antique reds, blues and greens in this exquisite pattern that comes from 19th century British textiles. A stunning gift. About the William Morris Snakeshead Pattern The exquisite floral pattern was designed by famous nineteenth centure textile and wallpaper designer William Morris. The floral pattern was influenced by rich Indian textiles in the 1870s, a time when the British were intensely interested in Indian textiles that were coming into the country. The Snakeshead pattern was first produced in 1876. The pattern is complex, and the colors in the floral pattern are rich blues and reds, a very sophisticated pattern for the times.
