【まるにつた】蔦紋。
「見聞諸家紋」(推定1467～1470頃成立)を見ると元来「蔦」は楕円形であったが、現代の紋帳をみると概ね楕円形からより円形に近い形状に変遷している。本図案は、「見聞諸家紋」掲載の蔦をベースに現代の蕊数の主流である四本にして(「見聞諸家紋」の中央の葉脈(蕊)は五本で描かれている)作図したものです。
