100 Years of Color Earrings

We are very excited to announce that the ASC Foundation is starting an anniversary campaign acknowledging the milestone of 100 Years of Color to celebrate the development of the Papanicolaou stain. Dr. Papanicolaou’s early papers were first published 100 years ago in 1917 and led to the birth of cytopathology. Mr. Nikolaos Chantziantoniou, a graduate student in Preventative Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, recently brought the centennial anniversary to our attention. His PhD research focuses on the Inception and Development of the Pap test. We are setting a campaign goal of $75,000 to support the work of the ASC and its missions of education, research, and advocacy. The campaign was launched at the 65th Annual Scientific Meeting in Phoenix and will conclude at the ASC 66th Annual Scientific Meeting in Washington, DC, November 10-13, 2018.
