This image is from the book "With Pencil and Pen" Subtitled "Language Lessons for Primary Schools" by Sarah Louise Arnold. It was published by Ginn And Company and Copyright, 1906. Since this is before the year 1923 that makes the image public domain. I have scanned the image and done a very small amount of editing but pretty much left the image as is for the character and charm. I love old children's books and have started a collection of them. They almost always have really great images and stories in them.
