The Senate passed the bill April 8, 1864, the House of Representatives passed the bill January 31, 1865, and President Abraham Lincoln signed the bill into law February 1, 1865.

The shirt is well-made; the material is soft and not too thin. The sleeves are just right. I ordered a size larger just in case and it fits as expected for a shirt that is one-size too big. Considering it will probably shrink the more it's washed, I don't mind it. The print of my job's logo looks great. I haven't noticed any bleeding or imperfections.
