From an old foreign-language book on historic military uniforms. The soldier at left is identified as a volunteer from Mile End. The one in the center is from Shoreditch, and the one at right is from Trinity Minories. A VERY neat image for all kinds of antique military EVERYTHING. I wanted happier curtains in this window so I made a seamless repeat in the things and colors that make me happy and ordered them in this tapestry then made curtain rod pockets. I love how it came out and I can use the fabric to make something else when I’m tired of them. Excellent. The colors are bright and look great the fabric is soft and hangs well.
