1821 Greek War of Independence Souvenir T-Shirt
Inspired by the 200 year anniversary of the 1821 War of Greek Independence against the Ottoman Empire, this is a quote from "Thourios" or battle-hymn (1797), in which Greek hero Rigas Feraios wrote, "It's finer to live one hour as a free man than forty years as a slave and prisoner". It includes an illustration of Rigas' signature. The light blue and white stripes harken to the Greek flag and form a 2, while the branch forms a 1, together '21'.

The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
