1861 French fashion plate wedding gown Napkins

From an 1861 issue of the magazine Les Modes Parisienne comes this lovely print of a classic Victorian wedding dress. Actually, at the time, even the purple frock would have made a great wedding gown. Many 19th century brides simply walked down the aisle in their best dress, along with a veil and orange blossoms. It was Queen Victoria who first wore the all-white bridal gown. Thus ends the history lesson. Note that my store has oodles more Victorian fashion plates and prints on all kinds of EVERYTHING.
