From a German fashion magazine entitled ‘Allegemeine Moden-Zeitung,’ which, although not a direct translation, would probably have been called something like ‘Latest Fashions News’ in English. These old fashion magazines - no matter where they came from -- had marvelous hand-colored plates. This one is no exception. I wanted happier curtains in this window so I made a seamless repeat in the things and colors that make me happy and ordered them in this tapestry then made curtain rod pockets. I love how it came out and I can use the fabric to make something else when I’m tired of them. Excellent. The colors are bright and look great the fabric is soft and hangs well.
