1880s Ferris Common Sense Corsets ad Note Card
From an 1880s woman’s magazine in my possession. Note that back in the day, no self-respecting woman would go out without wearing a corset. In one of the Laura Ingalls Wilder books, there’s an account of the girls - around age 10 or so – SLEEPING in corsets. Apparently, every means was taken to make sure that the girls would one day snag a husband. Mind-blowing today, but back then snagging a husband, and by age 20 or so at the latest, was a girl’s number one priority. To wait too much longer was risk the possibility of a sad life of spinsterhood. Thus ends the history lesson. Enjoy the image – which looks neat on all kinds of EVERYTHING - while enjoying not having to wear a corset. Note that this is a blank card - it needs you to come up with a snappy message.

I created it and have reordered several times along with postage, gift wrap, tags, and more of the theme. The inside can be customized for whatever one wants or left blank for a note card. It is really a touch of class, and the card stock is premium weight with a nice finish to it: semi gloss. Pop Off the Page Perfect as I am thrilled to be able to continue to say. Zazzle can compete with the best on the market (and takes it a step further in that we can all customize the products to make them personally ours).

I love how this image I had drawn of a botanical came out so nicely on these cards. The image looks professional and I appreciate your assistance! I was happy with the image copy overall, but it has a bit of a cream hue and that could be the fact that the paper white is great quality has that hue to it. Overall satisfied customer, just placed another order.
