1895 Sherwin Cotton Slip Painted Floral Repro Ceramic Tile

This tile is reproduced from an original slip painted (barbotine) tile from the late 1800s in warm earth colors. Available in 4 and 6 inch tiles as well as other Zazzle products. Sherwin & Cotton tiles were manufactured in Staffordshire, England from 1877 to 1911. They had a well-deserved reputation as one of the finest producers of decorative tiles in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. You can frame it to hang on a wall, use as an accent wall tile, trivet, coaster, or place it on a small easel as an objet d'art. Also makes great backsplashes and wall tiles for kitchen, laundry, bath or shower.
