1932 Folies Bergère poster print Throw Pillow

Hard to believe this utterly maaahvelous image of the gals at the Folies Bergère dates to 1932. When it first came into my possession, I thought it was from around 1960. But 1932 is the date that originally appeared in the lower right of the image, with the name of the artist, who turns out not to have been Erté. Another surprise. I painted over signature and date since they really don’t add much to the image. What remains in terms of text is ‘Nuits de Folies’ at the upper left. (Upper right in the reverse view) Note that the scene appears on both sides of the pillow, in mirror image. A totally fantastic something on all kinds of EVERYTHING, including throw pillows.
