1954 Chevrolet Corvette Money Clip
Carry your "bills" in style with this awesome vintage Corvette money clip. In 1954, only 3,640 of this model were built and nearly a third were unsold at year's end. They were equipped with a six-cylinder engine and Powerglide automatic, the only engine and transmission available, were not what sports car enthusiasts expected. It is known that 1954 models were painted Pennant Blue, Sportsman Red, and Black, in addition to Polo White. All had red interiors except for those finished in Pennant Blue that had a beige interior. If you expecting an actual gold metal background, it's not. It looks like paper or at the very best it's some sort of plastic. It's cheap looking. I'm too embarrassed to give this as a gift. The picture I took makes it look better than it is. I don't think this will wear well either. I guess you get what you pay for. I'm very disappointed. .
