Adding ANYTHING to the backside—a word, an icon, a picture, even a white or solid background color—will trigger a surcharge/an upcharge! + She was born Isabel Flores de Oliva in Lima, Peru, but is better known as St. Rose of Lima, the first saint born in the Americas. According to tradition, a servant in the Flores household dreamed a dream in which the infant Isabel’s face was transformed into a rose. Thereafter, the nickname “Rose” stuck. It became official in 1597 when she took the name for herself at her Confirmation by Archbishop St. Toribio de Mogrovejo. Quite naturally, roses of all varieties have become her attribute.
