1-sided Pray the Rosary (“Trad.” Luminous 2) Garden Flag

Also available as a two-sided variant for an additional cost. + The Luminous Mysteries were not introduced until 2002 by Pope Saint John Paul II. As such, there are no “traditional” colors. For the sake of completeness, we offer as an option house and garden flags in the “traditional mode” using the central medallion of Mary derived from a detail of a Renaissance painting and a traditional blackletter font American Text but with the colors commonly used today for the Luminous Mysteries. Here, we have given a yellow rosary a pastel yellow background to distinguish it from the Traditional Glorious Mysteries flags in yellow and white. + Image Credit (Optional “Traditional” Luminous 2 Rosary Beads): Our yellow rosary beads derive from a loose bookplate in the designer’s private collection entitled “Gems and Precious Stones” featuring the Tiffany Yellow Diamond (No. 31). The bookplate was prepared under the direction of George F. Kunz (1856-1932), the renowned American mineralogist and gem expert with Messrs. Tiffany and Company. It was chromolithographed by L. Prang & Co., Boston, Massachusetts, c.. 1890.
