1-sided Young Jesus, Wheat Stalks, and Grape Vines Garden Flag
Welcome guests to your Prayer Garden with a garden flag from Saints_Aplenty on Zazzle! This flag features Jesus standing between wheat stalks and grape vines. + The scene here takes place in a garden enclosed by a stone wall probably at Jesus’s home in Nazareth. A pre-teen Jesus with a cruciform halo is clad in a long, wide-sleeved pink robe tied with a blue sash. He stands on the path in front of the garden’s wooden gate. As a babe and even as a youth, Jesus is often depicted in the art of yesteryear wearing pink. While we associate pink with girls and blue with boys, the reverse was once the custom. As a pastel version of red, pink was once considered a more masculine color than blue. And, red is the color most often associated with the adult Jesus symbolizing His all-encompassing love for mankind, His sacrifice of Himself on the Cross, and His blood shed for our redemption. The robe’s neckline is embellished with red beads or gemstones. + Jesus, arms opened wide, is flanked with stalks of wheat on the left and grape vines on the right. The plants are symbolic of the Eucharist: the makings of the bread and wine that constitute its outward signs. Christ’s pose calls to mind the words instituting the sacrament of Holy Communion on Maundy Thursday: “This is My Body… This is My Blood”. The association is made only that much closer by Jesus actually touching a stalk of wheat and a bunch of grapes. + Image Credit (MH 005): Antique image in chromolithography captioned in German as “O Christ, was könnt ich mehr dir geben / Als Brot and Wein_zum ew’gen Leben!” [“O Christ, what more can I give you / than bread and wine for eternal Life!”] from a late 19th-early 20th century devotional print (Series No. 2151), originally published by Max Hirmer, Munich, Germany, from the designer’s private collection of religious ephemera.

Garden Flag
Creator Review
Flag bracket is super easy to assemble. There is a prong fork that goes into the ground. I dug a shallow hole to bury the prongs and still had enough height. Reinforced stitching on for the flag opening. Colors are true to the website. Mona Lisa's sign with the text is easy to read, the text is clear and not blurry.
I am very happy with this yard sign.

Garden Flag
My neighbor was in tears when she saw this beautiful flag in the garden she started in memory of her beloved Boxer/Mastiff. I loved being able to easily personalize it with 2 different looks. No matter which side is facing forward, Blue is looking toward her home of the past 12 years.
