This division, known as The Old Breed Blue Diamond and distinguished by the recognizable Blue Diamond shoulder insignia, has merited a place in history. The 1st Marine Division, with its slogan of "No better friend, no worse enemy," is a classic example of fierce battle combat and allegiance to allies. This design honors their valiant participation in that crucial World War II combat by including the fabled blue diamond patch with the red numeral one and Guadalcanal prominently engraved. I am a heavy coffee drinker and this big capacity mug just fits the bill. I especially like the long handle because it's easy on my arthritic fingers.
