Yellow and Brown Floral Brown-eyed Susan Coaster

This round, yellow and brown flower coaster reveals the simple, whimsical appeal of the brown-eyed susan. It is a native flower to much of the east and midwest United States, and it belongs to the Rudbeckia family just like the more well-known black-eyed susan and coneflower species. I myself had never heard of a brown-eyed susan until recently, when I spotted one in a friend's backyard and said the big, colorful blooms looked like something out of Munchkinland in Oz! I knew I had to photograph some of these happy, gorgeous flowers. The bright yellow petals of this beautiful flower make me smile, and I hope this coaster will bring a little sunshine to your day as well!
