The 2nd New Jersey Regiment was raised on 9 October 1775, at Trenton, New Jersey for service with the Continental Army under the command of Colonel William Maxwell. The regiment would see action at the Battle of Trois-Rivières, Valcour Island, Brandywine, Germantown, Crooked Billet, Monmouth, Sullivan Expedition, Battle of Springfield and the Battle of Yorktown.

The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
