[700] Masonic Square and Compasses [3rd Degree] Tie

[700] Masonic Square and Compasses [3rd Degree] Tie

Introducing “Sacred Symbols 3D: Masonic Symbols” Collection by C.7 Design Studio. Here you will find gifts featuring a unique design, featuring a symbol of Masonic Square and Compasses (Master Mason, 3rd Degree). The Square and Compasses (or, more correctly, a square and a set of compasses joined together) is the single most identifiable symbol of Freemasonry. Freemasonry is a fraternal organization that arose from obscure origins in the late 16th to early 17th century. Freemasonry now exists in various forms all over the world, with a membership estimated at around six million. The fraternity is administratively organized into independent Grand Lodges or sometimes Orients, each of which governs its own jurisdiction, which consists of subordinate (or constituent) Lodges. There are also appending bodies, which are organizations related to the main branch of Freemasonry, but with their own independent administration. The Square and Compass or sometimes known as “The Light” is also representative of the 3rd degree in a Freemason’s level of achievement. Once a mason has reached the 3rd degree, he becomes a Master Mason. Both the square and compasses are architect's tools and are used in Masonic ritual as emblems to teach symbolic lessons. Some Lodges and rituals explain these symbols as lessons in conduct. However, as Freemasonry is non-dogmatic, there is no general interpretation for these symbols (or any Masonic symbol) that is used by Freemasonry as a whole. As measuring instruments, the tools represent judgment and discernment. In English speaking jurisdictions the Square and Compasses are often depicted with the letter "G" in the center. The letter is interpreted to represent different words jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Among the most widely accepted interpretations are that: [G] stands for God, and is to remind Masons that God is at the center of Freemasonry. In this context it can also stand for Great Architect of the Universe (a reference to God). In a different context, the letter stands for Geometry, described as being the "noblest of sciences", and "the basis upon which the superstructure of Freemasonry is erected."

The Pageant Tie is just what I wanted and everyone at church wants one. I have worn it several days now and each day more people come to me to see it and say how great it is. The printing is just as it should be. Each photo is clear and the color is great.

I bought this tie for a cosplay of Haruhi Fujioka for Halloween and anime conventions. It feels very nice and silky. It's my first tie ever, and I'm a pretty big fan since I always wanted a tie. It was longer than I expected it to be (quite a plus), but the purple stripe was also thinner than I expected it to be (a slight bit of a downer, but I don't mind too much). I had never used Zazzle before, but I am very impressed with the shipping time. I was looking for places to get a tie like this so last minute since the ties like this on Amazon were incompatible with Prime. Thus, I ended up here. I paid for express shipping, expected delivery October 30-31, and it arrived in the morning on the 30th. Very impressed. I might just use Zazzle again. The print job was okay. The colors were perfect, but as you can see in the pictures, the stripe was a little off-center, and there was a kink in the stripe around where it transitions from the wide end to the thin end. It should work perfectly for my cosplay, but it was a little too carelessly print to be a very professional tie.

This was such a hit! My brother was really excited to get it. The only thing he said was it was short -but he's 6'3" so it's hard for him to find ties that are long enough for him. Luckily, my other brother (who is the same height) managed to tie his tie so it fit, so he gave it to him. They both remarked on how much they like the ties and the material. Beautiful! Clear vibrant printing! The tie looks GREAT!
