A Sunday Afternoon at La Grande Jatte, Seurat Apple Watch Band
Georges-Pierre Seurat (2 December 1859 – 29 March 1891) was a French post-Impressionist artist. He is best known for devising the painting techniques known as chromoluminarism as well as pointillism. While less famous than his paintings, his conté crayon drawings have also garnered a great deal of critical appreciation. Seurat's artistic personality combined qualities that are usually supposed to be opposed and incompatible: on the one hand, his extreme and delicate sensibility, on the other, a passion for logical abstraction and an almost mathematical precision of mind. His large-scale work A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte (1884–1886) altered the direction of modern art by initiating Neo-impressionism, and is one of the icons of late 19th-century painting. Loved that I received this band so quickly in the mail. I was hoping to find a higher quality band. Unfortunately, this band is cheaply made for spending almost $50 on it. The faux leather is thin and feels flimsy. The band on the watch band is glued together, and you can see the seam where it was glued real well. I have bought bands on other custom make sites for the same price, for a lot nicer quality. The quality is lacking in these. Besides the cheap thin faux leather, the metal pieces are nice and fit the watch well. The print, printed a lot more saturated and lighter than original file I uploaded. Still turned out nice though.
