ADIRE - The Original Tie And Dye Fabric T-Shirt
This is an image of Adire, the original tie and dye fabric of the Yoruba people of South West Nigeria. This is the forerunner of all tie and die fabrics and it is usually referred to as ADIRE ELEKO. It originated in Abeokuta, South West Nigeria about the middle of 19th century and they are still made till today with indigo dye as shown in the image.
