Aiding a Comrade Remington Fine Art Placemat

The front of this place mat is a wonderful image by famous cowboy artist Frederic Remington, called Aiding A Comrade. It depicts two mounted cowboys coming to the aid of a third cowboy caught up in the stirrup of his bucking bronco. This is a scene that played out many times in the old American West. Remington was a master at capturing the action of this historic time. The back side of this mat is another Remington fine art work, called Arizona Cowboy, which shows a lone cowboy on his horse.
