Akepa and Lehua Hawaiian pattern on Linen Fabric
There are Hawaii island ( Big island ) ʻakepa birds that can still be found if you are lucky, the males are a bright blaze orange and the females are green. They are in the finch family. They are found eating and hanging out on the O'hia trees in the highlands. "Lehua" is the Ohia tree's flowers which they use their small bills to pry open foraging for insects.
