Alaska Combat Fisherman Badge Award

Based on a common military award the Combat Fisherman Badge commemorates surviving combat fishing in Alaska. Thousands of anglers, almost shoulder to shoulder, line both banks of salmon streams, each trying to catch a big fish while trying to keep his line from tangling with those of everyone else.
