Alaska Combat Fisherman Badge Bookmarks

On the front the Combat Fisherman Badge, based on a common military award, which commemorates surviving combat fishing in Alaska. It features a Sockeye Salmon (Oncorhynchus nerka), in spawning red coloration, on a dark blue background, over a conifer branch wreath. Text reading "ALASKA" is located at the top of the image. Customize by adding your own additional text on both front and back. The background color is that of Alaska's state flag. Salmon fishing is extremely popular in Alaska, too popular. Thousands of anglers, almost shoulder to shoulder, line both banks of salmon streams, each trying to catch a big fish while trying to keep his line from tangling with those of everyone else. Tempers can flare. This is called combat fishing.
