Gentleman, we have gathered here today to take in the illustrious beauty of the 1800s. The finery of the times were more than fine. These were otherworldly creations, never before seen, unique in their existence. Yes, you guessed it, I'm talking about these wondrous outfits! Almost like suits of armor, with many different layers of silks and lace. While corsets and garters may not be a part of modern day society in most places, it was definitely a thing back then. The struggle for women was real back then! And the intricacies of the fabric designs of these magnificent gowns, the weaving created by the best seamstresses of the time. It was pure opulence, to the point of absurdity almost, bordering decadence! But pure opulence with an absurdity point laying next to decadence was what these wealthy elites strived for in these times. And boy did they get a lot of things right. We may never see clothing the likes of these ever again, aside from maybe a halloween event or a theater production. It's truly sad that this era is far and gone.
