The struggle for women was real back then! And the intricacies of the fabric designs of these magnificent gowns, the weaving created by the best seamstresses of the time. It was pure opulence, to the point of absurdity almost, bordering decadence! But pure opulence with an absurdity point laying next to decadence was what these wealthy elites strived for in these times. And boy did they get a lot of things right. We may never see clothing the likes of these ever again, aside from maybe a halloween event or a theater production. It's truly sad that this era is far and gone.
