Alphonse Mucha Bandana
Alphonse Mucha (24 July 1860 – 14 July 1939) was a Czech painter, illustrator and graphic artist, living in Paris during the Art Nouveau period, best known for his distinctly stylized and decorative theatrical posters, particularly those of Sarah Bernhardt. He produced illustrations, advertisements, decorative panels, and designs, which became among the best-known images of the period.
In the second part of his career, at the age of 43, he returned to his homeland of Bohemia-Moravia region in Austria and devoted himself to painting a series of twenty monumental canvases known as The Slav Epic, depicting the history of all the Slavic peoples of the world, which he painted between 1912 and 1926. In 1928, on the 10th anniversary of the independence of Czechoslovakia, he presented the series to the Czech nation. He considered it his most important work. It is now on display in Prague. The bandana itself is very durable. It stands washing cycles very well. Also the bandana is quite warm when worn around the neck. Overall I'm quite satisfied with the material and the quality of the product. The design is excellent quality. Printed exactly as it is shown online with crisp lines and great detail. I was a little surprised when the bandana colors came out slightly darker than what was shown but taking into account the dye sublimation printing process and type of material I'm not disappointed. I'm very satisfied with the printed results.

The scarf fabric is soft and easy to fold, stays in place. The scarf holds a knot firmly but easy to un-knot when needed. The stitching is tight and no loose threads were visible at the seams. The printing color is true to the online image. Only one side is printed but I like that because it will be used folded in half at an angle. When folded, the full design is visible. Designed so that either side can be used in the triangle shape, neither side will have the image upside down.

The circle containing Gaia is great for laying out tarot and oracle cards; the animals create a frame surrounding the cards. I'm excited to use this cloth for my altar as well. Whenever I see this cloth, it makes me smile and appreciate the natural beauty within this world. The printing quality is fantastic and reflects the coloration and saturation from the image. I love how soft and large these cloths are.
