Alphonse Mucha Fruit Mug

Alphonse Mucha Fruit Mug

Alphonse Mucha Fruit mug. Lithograph poster from 1897. Czech artist Alphonse Mucha painted a variety of different allegories throughout his career. Fruit depicts a beautiful woman holding an armful of purple grapes, green pears, figs and red apples. The woman’s dark hair is adorned with flowers and leaves, and she wears a light blue art nouveau dress with silver clasps and gold armband. A beautiful gift for fans of Mucha, art nouveau posters, and vintage prints.

This is a gorgeous mug that makes me feel as though I am outdoors in my Hosta garden, on a beautiful day in Spring! The printing is lovely and sharp just like my painting. I shall be displaying this mug at an exhibition soon!
