A beautiful Art Nouveau Lady. Alfons Mucha, often known in English and French as Alphonse Mucha, was a Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist, known best for his distinct style. He produced many paintings, illustrations, advertisements, postcards, and designs. Clair De Lune features a beautiful dreamy-eyed girl surrounded by stars in the moonlight. Mucha's work has continued to experience periodic revivals of interest for illustrators and artists. Interest in Mucha's distinctive style experienced a strong revival during the 1960s (with a general interest in Art Nouveau) and is particularly evident in the colorful psychedelic poster art.

This wonderful Alphonse Mucha artwork is reproduced on a great marble trivet. It will protect any surface with style. The marble is white and has a cork backing under it. It's a gift for a big Mucha fan, and I know she'll love it. The image quality is great. The image is sharp and clears, and the colors are splendid.

I bought the Travertine as it gives more depth to the design. Quality all the way!. Like that you can set hot things on it and not conflict with the image. Love the design quality as it picked up all the colors very well. Nice addition to the kitchen.
