Angel Wings (Blue) Front and Back Tee

The word angel is derived from the Greek word angelos, which means "messenger." Angels are found within three key religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Yet, angels, or divine helpers, were also found within Sumerian, Babylonian, Persian, Egyptian and Greek writings, as well. This tee pulls from these references by placing a pair of wings prominently on the back of the shirt (this version in blue). In modern Pop culture, the character of "Angel" and later as "Archangel", is a fictional superhero appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics and is a founding member of the X-Men. He originally possesses a pair of large feathered wings extending from his back, enabling him to fly. He is the heir to a multibillion-dollar corporation called Worthington Industries. He currently appears in the 2016 movie X-Men: Apocalypse. In the comic book, Angel often appears with a halo emblem in the front of his custom. This tee was inspired by the reference by placing a halo on the font of the shirt.
