Animal Shelters Are Overflowing Help The Popula... T-Shirt

I have worked at a Shelter for animals. From my many years there,thousands of thousands each year come in .I encourage you all to volunteer at your local Humane Society and to get the real picture of how many come in.I have heard people say we gave away 5 kittens at a local store and we have 2 left,"Can you take them?" First thing we ask is "Where is the mother to these kittens and is she getting spayed?Sure we took them ,but guess what happens when you give away your animals? Some will end up at the shelter anyway or do you really know who you gave that precious animal to?Did it get spayed or neutered? Is it being taken care of properly? I am not saying all people who get free animals are bad.Just want you to understand the circle that forms from getting the animal in a parking lot and how sometimes it ends up in a shelter with a litter. It is a vicious cycle.
