"Looking on with Love" - Anne of Green Gables, PEI This is a Reproduction of my original Acrylic Painting on Canvas 16x20.
"Looking on with Love" was inspired by the novel "Anne of Green Gables' by Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery in 1908.
It recounts the adventures of Anne Shirley, an 11 years old orphan who is mistakenly sent to a middle aged brother and sister who had wanted to adopt a boy to help on their farm in Prince Edward Island. The novels tells Annes story of her life with the Cuthberts, school and in her new town. Anne of Green Gables has sold more than 50 million copies and has been translated into 20 different languages.
How could I not be inspired to paint Anne and her beloved Green Gables!!!

This is so adorable that I gave it to my sister right away. It is her dog on the front and when she saw it I just knew I had to gift it to her. She loves it, we all love it, the quality and color is excellent. She has used it every day since. Looks great, nice and even with good color on the background, very much what I wanted. When I saw this bag, I got so excited. Just to see the lady on the bag lifting her hands up giving God the glory. The print came out excellent. I very pleased with the durability of the bag. The print came out excellent. I think this bag is going to make a great conversation piece. I added brown fabric paint to add waves to her hair. i also used white fabric on her dress. The print on the bag was fine, sometimes I just add more color to make it stand out.
